Q. Is there a discount if I only attend one day? A. This is the usual one day rate for the SE conference, even without the banquet. If you are able to attend more than one day - and the banquet - its a bonus! Q. Does this count toward a CDA Child Development Associate credential? A. Absolutely! Training certificates for a total of six hours Friday, one hour evening keynote at the banquet, and six hours on Saturday will be available. Q. Is there a training reimbursement for the mini-conference? A. People working in licensed child care are eligible for a 75% training reimbursement. Forms will be available at the conference, and payments will be made within one to two weeks of the event. Q. If I can only attend one day, am I still eligible for reimbursement? A. Yes, you must attend at least six total hours to receive a full reimbursement, otherwise it will be pro-rated. Q. Will there be University credit offered? A. No, but check out the other great early childhood classes this spring and summer - www.uas.alaska.edu Q. Is there childcare available? A. Thanks to our wonderful Board of Directors for offering childcare during the last session on Saturday! (Be sure to call the office if you would like to reserve a spot!) |
